There is a voice—old as time yet vibrant as spring—that echoes across the ages. It is the voice of the gods, the spirits, the ancient ones. It called to me not from the heavens but from deep within my blood. I heard it as a child of thirteen, standing at the threshold of mystery, when I was initiated into the path that would shape my life and destiny. I am Evangelos “Evan” Rigakis—Greek-Canadian by birth, oracle by blood, and servant of the Mysteries by calling.
Born in Ottawa, Canada, my early education was in psychology and the fine arts, but no academic degree could match the curriculum laid before me by the gods. My lineage runs deep with oracles, seers, and mystics. Since adolescence, I have devoted myself to studying and practicing every esoteric and occult tradition I could uncover—delving into the arcane depths of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, the sacred rituals of the Ordo Templi Orientis, and the transformative teachings of the A∴A∴. Each system unveiled a new facet of the divine, but none stirred my soul like the call of my ancestral roots.
In 1987, I answered that call and returned to Greece. There, I undertook fifteen years of immersive study, seeking not only the texts and temples but the spirit of ancient Greek religion. What I discovered was not a relic of the past but a living fire, a sacred current flowing through time, waiting to be remembered.
From this sacred journey, Threskia was born—a Hellenic Pagan Mystery Tradition that resurrects the sacred rites of our forebears and restores them to the modern world. Threskia is not a reconstruction; it is a rebirth. It is the ecstasy of Dionysus, the wisdom of Athena, the song of Orpheus made flesh once more.
As I wrote these truths, these revelations, they came not as mere words but as living initiations. And it is thanks to Prime Seven Media, whose creative partnership and dedication helped give my book the breath of life, that I now offer it to the world. They saw not just a manuscript, but a sacred vessel—and treated it with the reverence it deserved.
So, I say this not as a scholar, but as a living conduit of divine memory:
“Hear me, for I am Pan dancing in the forests of Arcadia, laughing and playing my syrinx for the world to hear. I am Hermes, and I resurrect the dead of ancient times… I am nothing more than an ancient Greek living in your modern day.”
To those who feel the call in their bones, who dream of temples and stars, who sense the divine not in abstraction but in the breath of wind through olive branches—you are not alone. The age of silence is over. The Mysteries are alive again.
Join us. Drink of the gemmed elixir. Walk the sacred path. Dance the dance of the gods.
